Save The Date February 22, 2021 Inaugural Virtual Event
We are thrilled to announce our inaugural virtual event, The New Essential From Multiple Perspectives. After an unprecedented time in history with many pivots, many shifts and many changes in perspective, what is the new essential, the absolutely necessary that remains after the dust settles? What are the big ideas that blossomed through the muddy waters of change? These are the ideas worth sharing from multiple perspectives: agriculture, arts, business, community development, economy, education, health, technology, well-being to name a few.
We are a team of volunteers who believe in The Tara Boulevard Community and seek to amplify the voices of its innovation, thought leadership, and change makers engaging in good trouble to shift what needs to be shifted now and for future generations.
in TEDxTaraBlvd was created in 2020 the night of the 2021 elections when there was a national and international focus on Georgia. We represent the ENTIRE Tara Blvd Community (without political affiliation) and on this night, it was clear to our curator, Dena Wiggins, that we have many stories of innovative, bold change to share in community and with the world.
Our mission is simple... to share innovative, bold ideas among our diverse community, national communities and TEDx global community. We aspire to be a vehicle to strengthen our community through collaboration that expands ideas worth sharing into inspired action.
If you share our excitement to bring TEDx events to the southside, please consider volunteering. We are looking for expertise in technology, videography, graphic design, social media, community relations and speaker support. It takes teamwork to make the dream work! Thank you for lending your gifts to make our events exceptional! Click here to volunteer.
